Lords soccer notches 4-0 win over Heidelberg

Lords soccer cruised past the Heidelberg University Student Princes with a 4-0 win this afternoon, improving their record to 3-0-0 on the year.

The Lords scored early and often in the game, starting in the 24th minute with Tony Amolo ’17 heading the ball over the goalie’s hand off of an Oliver Wynn ’18 cross. Ten minutes later, first year Greg McNeer scored his first collegiate goal with a beautiful 30-yard, one-time volley that flew into the upper right corner of the net.

Kenyon kept up the pressure in the second half as Dalton Eudy ’17 scored in the 55th minute off of an Amolo assist. Six minutes later, Amolo scored his second goal of the game, delivering a final blow to the Student Princes.

This win marks the second time this year the Lords’ defense has shut out their opponent.
