Football drops penultimate game 49-25 to Little Giants

After traveling to Crawfordsville, Ind. to face Wabash College, Kenyon was unable to come away with a win, moving their overall record to 3-6 and 2-5 in the NCAC.

In a battle of intense offense, the Little Giants kicked off the first half with 28 unanswered points. After conceding four consecutive touchdowns, the Owls battled back in the second quarter. QB Park Penrod ’25, in for Ryan O’Leary ’23, threw an incredible 72-yard pass, clicking with Finn Murray ’23 for the score. Murray, who now has 817 receiving yards and six touchdowns to his name, has had a great show of offense thus far. He and his teammate, Zachary Kim ’25, who has 1082 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns, make for a phenomenal duo. As the focal point of the offense against Wabash, Murray came away with 154 yards, and Kim added his own 61 yards to the share.

As the game progressed, O’Leary added two rushing touchdowns to the scoresheet. However, it was ultimately the Little Giants’ stomping offense that was the game changer.

The Owls will travel this Saturday to Granville, Ohio for their final game of the season to face Denison University, which is 5-2 in the NCAC.
