In my four years at the Collegian, I have advised more writers than I can count to “keep it simple.” Thus, in the interest of taking my own advice, I will attempt to do the same here.

I love the Collegian. It has made me a better writer, a better editor and given me more opportunities for growth than I ever imagined. Being trusted to lead Volume 153 was an honor that I will carry with me for a long time. Thank you to everyone who has read my work, written for my section or given comments for my articles — it meant more than you know.

Volume 154, I wish you many exciting leads, juicy interviews and early nights. I do not, however, wish you good luck, because you won’t need it. I look forward to joining the ranks of regular Collegian readers in the years to come.
