The student body has passed the Student Activities Fee Referendum, raising the student activities fee from $135 to $150 per semester for the 2012-2013 school year. A total of 456 students had voted in the poll when it closed on Monday, Nov. 7 with 65 percent voting to pass the increase, according to Vice President for Student Life Whitty Montgomery ’12, who administrated the poll. This poll was the second that Student Council sent out regarding this issue because the first did not receive the 25 percent participation necessary to be valid.
