Over 20 members of the Archon Society weeded the strawberry patch and cleared trails at the Brown Family Environmental Center (BFEC) for their biannual BFEC volunteer day last Saturday, Sept. 17. Their work will help the BFEC donate strawberries to local food banks and prepare for the upcoming Mudman Triple trail race series, according to Archon Service Chair Sarah Marnell ’13. “I think the event went very well,” she said. “Service events are a great way for groups to bond, and many of our members love being outside, so we’re very lucky that the BFEC is so willing to have us.”
